The Algonquian was the tribe that lived in those shelters before the American Indians did. The Algonquian were the ones who built and lived in the shelters pretty much.
The Abenaki was the tribe that said "wigwams" instead of houses. Some migratory tribes who lived in warm dry cultures, such as the Apache tribes, built brush shelters as homes on regular basis. North Americans lived modern apartments just like the American Indians did before. Chickees are Native American homes used primarily in Florida by tribes like the Seminole Indians. The American Indians had the shelters because they didn't have the materials to build like a big houses or any kind of house. They Some of the American Indians lived in North American and some didn't. The American Indians were the ones who had one of the best shelters out there. The shelters were made out of wood and material that are ok. |
